Ceramics 3
Sun 1st Aug - Sat 7th Aug 2010
These workshops are intended
to give the absolute beginner the skills to
create something magical, functional,
obscure, weird, practical or anything you fancy.
Even if you have never touched clay
in your
life, with the help of our experienced
ceramicist you can create
whatever
you want. (well almost)
All photographs are of
participants' work who have had no previous experience
with clay!
The clay we use is dug straight from our own land, then hand
prepared
and waiting for your creations. (By the way; if anybody is
interested in this
process, volunteers are always welcome -wellies will be provided...)
At the end of the week you will be going home with not only your own
work but also a whole week of experience and fun.
Spaces are limited to seven people. Traditional Irish Music
workshops run at the same
time providing a very creative atmosphere at the
Boghill! Ear plugs are optional!!
Evenings can spent in sessions in the local pubs,
relaxing with a good book
or whatever takes your fancy!
